We welcome all visitors and pilgrims to our beautiful St. Patrick’s Cathedral and to the city of Armagh. We encourage you to be part of our vibrant Cathedral community while you are here.
We celebrate daily Mass at 10am and Sunday Masses at 11am and 5:30pm. We have a fabulous Cathedral choir who take part in the 11am Mass each Sunday.
We offer guided and self-guided tours in our beautiful Cathedral. All tours must be pre-booked through the online booking form (above).
Guided and Self-Guided Tours may take place Monday-Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm and Sunday’s 12noon-5pm.
Our Self-Guided Tours are catered for with a free app which can be downloaded to any smart device. There are also information leaflets available in the Cathedral Gift Shop.
Guided Tours £2 per person / Self-Guided £2 per person. To find out more about making the payment, please enquire at time of booking.
- Guided Tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
- At this time we only offer guided tours to groups with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 50.
- 48 hours notice must be given for guided tour cancellations.
- Please note all bookings are subject to cancellation for funeral Masses or other unforeseen events. Every effort will be made to accommodate groups at an alternative time.

Groups are welcome to celebrate a private Mass in our Cathedral should they have a priest travelling with them. Private Masses must be booked through the online booking form (linked above). A copy of the priests celebret must be forwarded to the office prior to the Mass, as well as the priest carrying it with them on the day.
The Cathedral toilets are locked after Mass. Access is only granted to those who have booked an Official Guided or Self-Guided tour.
The app is designed to encourage visitors of all ages to explore the two magnificent Saint Patrick’s Cathedrals of Armagh; guiding them through the spiritual, cultural and historic heritage of these two iconic Cathedrals. Concerts & Choir Information
Choral groups are welcome to take part in any of our parish Masses with the exception of the 11am service on Sunday when our Cathedral choir performs. Although there is no fee for choirs to sing at our Masses, a donation towards the upkeep of the Cathedral is appreciated.
The organ in the Cathedral is a 4 manual Telford organ. The choir area holds 30-35 choir members comfortably. For larger groups, alternative arrangements can be made in the church. The seating capacity of the Cathedral is 850 people.
The Cathedral is also available for concerts.
