On Sunday 26th November, an afternoon of prayer will take place in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh to celebrate the Feast of Christ the King. On this special day, we recognise and honour Christ as ruler and universal shepherd. The true King sits on a heavenly throne, never away nor above nor apart, with wisdom and mercy and constant compassion and He lives in the love that lives in our hearts.
The afternoon will take place from 2pm – 5pm, concluding with Benediction at 5pm. There will be prayers and reflections led on each of the hours and there will be quiet time, to allow people the opportunity to come before the Lord, to give thanks for all the graces and blessings of life and especially, the many blessings of the past year!
